It began with a single, unhurried morning on the Amalfi Coast — a cornetto, a cappuccino, and a child asleep in a backpack — and the quiet realisation that the best travel is never the busiest.

We are a small family of three who gave up the cram-everything-in holiday long ago. Now we choose one village, unpack once, and let the days find their own shape: a market morning, a long lunch, a swim before the sun goes down. We write down what we learn, because we wish someone had told us.
